PLEASE DON’T JUST UNPIN THIS IMMEDIATELY. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS!
This is Casey Marie Bellofatto.
We used to be friends. She was a terrible friend; mean. And eventually, I had to end our friendship because she was only impacting my life in a negative way. That was in middle school, and we haven’t talked since. In high school, she found her way into the wrong crowd and began doing stuff that I didn’t approve of. I think for a while she tried to make her life a little better; tried to better herself as a person. But after graduation last spring, she’s been on a downhill spiral. On Friday, I heard this news…
A Sykesville teenager and a Westminster woman were taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center after their vehicles were involved in an early Friday morning collision in Westminster.
Casey Marie Bellofatto, 18, of Sykesville, was driving south on Md. 97 near Md. 26 around 3 a.m., when her 2010 Toyota Corolla crossed the double yellow center line and struck another vehicle traveling north on the road, according to the Maryland State Police.
The Toyota then overturned off the roadway and caught fire.
Howard County Police officer Craig Ream saw the fire while on his way to work, and along with Carroll County Sheriff’s Office Cpl. Gunnar Burdt, removed Bellofatto from the vehicle, according to a state police press release.
Bellofatto was flown to shock trauma, where she remains in critical condition.
She was drunk, driving home from a party that morning. The only reason she left without sobering up a little bit was that she got in a huge fight with her best friend. I’ve heard rumors that she’s going to get her leg amputated, if it hasn’t already been. She’s burned really bad. I heard yesterday that she woke up with no memory loss, but now has had 2 strokes since. Last night she was transfered to a new hospital that usually treats people in comas. The truth is, I don’t know what’s going on, but it’s really serious.
Casey tormented me back in the day, but regardless, nobody deserves to go through the things she’s going through. She made a terrible decision, but every single human being makes mistakes. Her life is about to change forever.
She was drinking and driving. They say all the time, not to drive while intoxicated, but you can never really expect this can you? The other woman that she injured is okay, luckily, but I’m most concerned about Casey’s family.
They’re pretty much going through hell right now. Her mom, dad and 3 siblings. Not only are they unsure of what’s going to happen to Casey, they’re about to go bankrupt. She’s most likely going to get sued, for injuring the older woman, and yes, she deserves that. But Casey is in need of far too much medical treatment that frankly, her family cannot afford, and they DO NOT deserve to have to pay all of it.
So this is what I’m asking from all of you. PLEASE donate just ONE DOLLAR. If you can donate more, that would be wonderful. But just one dollar from all of you will be a lot of help! Just think of her family; they NEED this.

Thank you so much!
what the fuck is your problem
you don’t post a fUCKING FUNDRAISER LINK AND BASH ON THE FUCKING PERSON FOR WHAT THEY DID TO YOU BUT YET STILL TELL PEOPLE TO DONATE ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID
IF YOU’RE GOING TO BASH THE PERSON WHO THE FUNDRAISER IS ABOUT THEN YOU’RE A FUCKING PRICK HOLY FUCKING SHIT IM SO FUCKING MAD
^^ Why Did I laugh so hard at this? “First, let me tell you how much of an awful friend this person was and how the car crash was all her fault then you can donate as much money as you can to this wonderful cause.” LMAO.
This was very ineffective. All you did was made me wonder how bad off HER VICTIMS are. Do they need additional help and donation from being struck by an drunk driver?
Lol, I have friends who were this girl’s bestfriends. I do not condone drunk driving AT ALL, but I do feel for her...
